West battles in U18 Indoor Finals

Our West representatives battled courageously, playing some very good hockey...
Taunton School U18 Girls led the way by getting to the Final played 27 January at the NIA, Birmingham. Unfortunately, they lost 3-5 to Kingston Grammar, whom they had beaten in the section matches! Well done to them...
The other Girls teams, Isca Dragons, Millfield and Dean Close came fourth in their sections.
In the Boys competition, Millfield, Exeter School, Canford and Dean Close found the going tough, coming fourth and fifth in their sections.
Congratulation must go to West umpire, Nick White, who umpired the Boys U18 Final.
