Website goes live at last!

Welcome to the new West Hockey website...

Much time and thought has been given to determining the information we publish so that it becomes an effective means of communication for all those who wish to use it – and the job is not over yet! Our objective is that the site becomes a ‘hub’ for anyone who has an interest in West hockey...

Just in case you didn’t know, West hockey comprises:
Avon | Channel Isles | Cornwall | Devon | Dorset
Gloucestershire | Herefordshire | Somerset | Wiltshire
 
Our immediate plan is to complete the West Youth section. With the England Hockey Single System being implemented here in the West, it will be invaluable for clubs, schools, players and parents to access up-to-date information. You’ll note that the Calendar is functioning and features most of the critical dates for this season although it will be important to return to it from time to time to check additions.
 
I hope that when you visit the site you will find it informative and useful. By it’s nature, there will be ongoing development – any thoughts about additional material or functionality are welcome...
